North American P-51 Mustang
These pictures are of the famous WWII fighter
the P-51 Mustang. Some of the
pictures show William (Bill) Anders at the controls. He was the Lunar Module
Pilot
of the Apollo 8 mission! Also, as a sidenote, he got asked if he could pick
a favourite fighter aicraft of all time and he chose the F-16. Good choice
Bill! :-)
